Level I Resources

  • Level I Certification and Study Guide  pdfThe 2009/10 PSIA Western Division Study Guide (29 pages) is required reading for all candidates taking Level 1 Modules or participating in the In-House Program. It is highly recommended as a study guide for all new instructors.
  • Level I Workbook pdf The 2009/10 PSIA Western Division Workbook (18 pages) is required for all Level 1 Modules and must be delivered to the clinician the first day of the Level 1 Module.
  • Level I Portfolio 09/10 pdf The PSIA Western Division Portfolio is a required component of the "In-House" Certification Program. This portfolio must be completed during the In-House training and will be reviewed by the clinician at the Validation Event
  • PSIA National Internet Learning Center- (located on our national site: thesnowpros.org) A great on-line resource for information on the skills concept, stepping stones, learning styles, the CAP Model, and much more.  You must log into the member services section to access this feature
  • Alpine Level I Study Guide pdf The PSIA National Level 1 Study Guide (130 pages) is optional reading for all candidates taking Level 1 Modules or participating in the In-House Program.  It is highly recommended as a study guide for all new instructors.

Level II Resources:

  • Western Div- Alpine Level 2 Certification and Study Guide pdf  The PSIA Western Division Certification & Study Guide is required reading for all candidates taking Level II skiing and teaching Modules.
  • Alpine Level 2 Workbook pdf  The PSIA Western Division Workbook is required for all Level II Teaching Modules and must be delivered to the clinician the first day of the Level II Teaching Module.
